A Solution to Parkinson's Disease

Third session day, “Di na Naninigas at sumasakit ang tyan ko ngayon, dati kasi hirap ako after kumain kasi sumasakit nga sya (pain scale of 9 out of 10) ngayon nasa 6 na lang ” she said. Her daughter also mentioned that her mom’s sleep lasted for more than 8 hours and said “ yung kamay dibn ni mommy din a sya ganon katigas gaya ng dati na parang nag lolock”. Book Review: Herbs, The Magic Healers

This is one of the old books in my collection, I have been keeping it up for many years and serves as my Herb Bible. It has ageless wisdom and very universal in  appeal. 

Herbs, the Magic Healers is a compendium of herbal wisdom from Paul Twitchell, the spiritual leader of Eckankar. The author simply believes that herbs can be use not only for physical but also for spiritual health. 

Most of the herbs are from all over North America, but some are also available in the Philippines. If you want to know more about the healing powers of herbs and guide to use them, this book will serve you well. Very informative, well-researched and written .

I learned so much about herbs from this book, the secrets of longevity use by the sages are herbs, herbs are very important to our physical and spiritual well-being. 

Some of the very interesting chapters are:  the sacred herbs of the ancient mystics, the strange and curios herbs, life-giving properties of seeds, herbs and karmic conditions of man, herbs that give life for the vital powers and more. 

The ancient lore of herbs and their magic healing properties comes alive in these pages, herbs being use by ancient health practitioners and spiritual adepts. In this modern world of ours, health practitioners detour into inorganic medicine, that's why I would like to share this book and hope readers to get a copy and let's bring back  the proper use of herbs- God's medicines, to restore well-being  in a disease-ridden world. 

Book Review: Vermont Folk Medicine

I came across this book way back in a book sale, it is one I value and recommend to read and keep a copy. Got it pre-loved and I am loving this book.

The book is authored by Dr. D.C. Jarvis, and Ear Nose and Throat Specialist (ENT) who employs the traditional Vermont Folk Medicine in his practice. The good doctor is a highly trained physician in his chosen field, though he realized that a simple home remedies works to most of his patients better, in the book he explains medical and scientific facts about the Vermont's Folk Medicine and why it works. One reason I love about the book is that, Dr. Jarvis documented all his patients' success with the use of the tradition Vermont Folk Medicine, such as the use of apple cider vinegar, honey, iodine (Lugol's solution) etc. The books serves as my reference that helps me a lot in managing a lot of health problems, such as hypertension, chronic sinusitis, colds, flu, varicose veins and other conditions. 

I feel confident and safe using the remedies because it was fully explained by the author scientifically and medically. He had  also proven it to himself and most of their patients.
