PDT and Diode Laser Therapy: A New Protocol for Cancers

Photo Dynamic Therapy (PDT) + Laser Therapy (Diode or Low Level Laser Blood Irradiation) combined,  proven to be very effective in cancer treatment and management together with other healing modalities. We have previously discussed the Laser Therapy, but what is PDT? 

PHOTODYNAMIC THERAPY

A widely used method of photodynamic therapy using a photosensitizer (PS ) of the second generation of chlorine e6 “Photoditazine " in cancer and non-cancer patients.

Photodynamic therapy ( PDT) - a fundamentally new method for the treatment of malignant tumors, significantly expanding the capabilities of modern oncology and treatment of a number of non-neoplastic diseases. In clinical medicine, the method used with the 1992 and 2002 with one of the standards in oncology . The basis of photodynamic therapy is photodynamic reaction in the growing biological tissues after administration of exogenous photosensitizer (PS ) under certain dose of light energy. Administering to the patient FS concentrated in the tumor. Light radiation of a specific wavelength corresponding to the type of absorption FS at local influence on the tumor induces the formation singlentnogo oxygen and oxygen free radicals, which are toxic to cancer cells and lead to their death. The tumor undergoes necrosis , exfoliates and replaced by normal connective tissue. Recovery occurs . No other harmful to the body in the process of PDT agents is formed. Therefore, photodynamic therapy may be applied before, after and during radiotherapy and chemotherapy , as well as before and after surgery in various combinations with these traditional PDT treatments

Photodynamic therapy may be applied both in the initial stages of cancer as an alternative to surgical treatment, calculated on the total destruction of the tumor , and with the palliation in advanced process to improve the quality of life of incurable patients. PDT is used and in terms of preoperative tumor to convert inoperable patients operable in order to reduce the amount of resection of the affected organ , with the aim of hemostatic tumors , complicated by bleeding , etc. One of the damaging mechanisms of PDT is thrombosis of tumor vessels . High selectivity ( specificity) introduced PS accumulation , the limited depth of cytotoxic effects , the absence of severe local and systemic complications of treatment, the possibility of multiple repeat treatment sessions , combined in one procedure of therapeutic effects and fluorescence diagnosis of tumor boundaries , PDT is well tolerated by elderly patients with severe comorbidities . The ability to use outpatient favorably to traditional methods of PDT treatment of malignant tumors ( surgery , radiation and chemotherapy ) . The selective destruction of the tumor during PDT with maximum preservation of healthy tissue is of particular importance in the so-called localization of tumor foci uncomfortable when surgery is not feasible due to anatomical features. These localizations include skin of the nose , eyelids and periorbital area, the ears , the ear canal , the genitals .

In addition to the classical procedure of PDT is the use of topical PDT in non-cancer patients. This so-called systemic photodynamic therapy . The reason for this procedure is the selective accumulation of PS tissue changes , which is very important in the treatment of diseases with high proliferative activity , such as endometriosis , psoriasis , etc., when traditional treatments do not bring the desired results. A particularly effective method for atherosclerosis large blood vessels for the destruction of atherosclerotic plaques , as well as in the treatment of rheumatoid arthritis.

Much attention deserve particular methods PDT - it photomodifica blood or fotoimmunoterapiya when besides the destruction of tumor cells , inactivation of viruses and bacteria. The method consists in the simultaneous introduction of the blood of FS and its intravenous laser irradiation of the appropriate wavelength . Thus are born the active forms of oxygen , peroxides that destroy cancer cells wherever they may be, that is a fight with metastases . This significantly extends the capabilities of PDT in the treatment of malignancies. So it is the destruction of viruses and bacteria , stimulates the secretion of cytokines - immune protection factors , thus forming antitumor, antiviral, antimicrobial immunity . In addition, cell death leads to a modified signal is applied to the stem cells at the site initiating the formation destroyed new, healthy cells while increasing the level of immune protection of the organism as a whole.

Indications for systemic photodynamic therapy :

- When the initial forms of primary cancer and early recurrence .

- Photodynamic therapy indicated in patients with severe comorbidities and severe age-related changes when traditional methods of treatment ( surgery , radiotherapy ) are contraindicated.

- Combined photodynamic therapy with conventional methods ( surgery, radiotherapy , chemotherapy ) .

- At intradermal metastases to hemostasis , reduce the volume of tumor tissue.

Indications for photodynamic therapy of cancer of skin and mucous:

1. Basal cell, squamous, metatypical cancer (T0N0M0).

- The size of the tumor site can be up to 3 cm in diameter with a thickness (depth)

- Infiltration of not more than 1.0 cm

- Recurrent and residual tumors that are resistant to conventional therapies.

- Multiple foci.

- Extensive damage.

- "Inconvenient" localization for surgical treatment (periorbital area, skate wings and nose, nasolabial folds, pinna, external auditory meatus).

- High risk of complications after radiotherapy and surgery in the treatment of somatic burdened patients.

- Failure of patients to conventional treatment methods. Of photodynamic therapy in gynecology (disease of the vulva )

- Basal cell , squamous , metatypical cancer (T1 - 3N0M0 ) , the size of the tumor site can be up to 3 cm in diameter with a thickness (depth) of infiltration of no more than 1.0 cm

- Recurrent and residual tumors that are resistant to conventional therapies.

- Multiple foci .

- Extensive damage .

- "Inconvenient" localization for surgical treatment.

- High risk of complications after radiotherapy and surgery in the treatment of somatic burdened patients.

- Failure of patients to conventional treatment methods.

- Atrophic and hypertrophic vulvar dystrophy .

Indications for PDT nonmalignant diseases :

1. in psoriasis :

 - Progressive and stationary stages of the disease.

- Resistance of the disease to the classical methods of treatment.

- Continuously

- Recurrent disease.

- Severe forms of the disease ( psoriatic arthropathy , psoriatic erythroderma , a large area of skin lesions ) .

- Intolerant drugs.

- Failure of patients to conventional treatment methods.

2 . in acne :

- Acne vulgaris different location and severity .

3 . with nonhealing wounds and trophic ulcers :

- Treatment of wounds in patients with diabetes mellitus type II , burn wounds ;

- The preparation of wounds to autodermoplasty ;

- Trophic ulcers of various etiologies ;

Photodynamic therapy in otolaryngology when treating inflammatory conditions

Currently, there are more reports of the use of PDT in the treatment of non-neoplastic diseases. Based on the numerous studies revealed fungicidal and bactericidal effect of PDT on the majority of microorganisms which cause lung diseases including ENT - organs. Numerous studies have suggested two major mechanisms of photodynamic damage that leads to the destruction of bacteria . The first mechanism is damaged, DNA damage comprising a second cytoplasmic membrane. Despite the fact that photodynamic antimicrobial effect in vitro is known and studied for almost a century , the use of this method for treating bacterial infections in experimental models in clinical practice in the initial stage of research.

Introduced many works , which show the feasibility of photodynamic therapy in the clinical setting for the treatment of a variety of inflammatory processes. So were successfully used intraoral PDT for the treatment of skin infections , also shows the effectiveness of photodynamic treatment in treatment of chronic suppurative diseases of soft tissues. PDT has antibacterial properties. Even relatively mild conventional PDT laser intensity , the concentration of bacteria decreases by three orders of magnitude within 10 minutes.

Positive results were obtained not only in PDT against common pathogens purulent infection but also against anaerobic bacteria and fungi.

Good results in the treatment of purulent sinusitis .

Thus, now have developed all preconditions to talk about the appearance of an entirely new method of treatment of various inflammatory and suppurative disease , fundamentally different from the traditional methods of antibiotic therapy on the following:

- PDT effectiveness does not depend on the sensitivity spectrum of pathogens to antibiotics;

- The development of microbial resistance to the action of PDT is practically impossible, since photodynamic damage caused singlentnogo cytotoxic oxygen free radicals ;

- Photosensitizers (PS ) is not mutagenic , which nullifies selection fotorezistentnyh strains of micro-organisms;

- Antimicrobial effects of photodynamic therapy does not decrease with time during long-term treatment of chronic , localized infection processes .

On any factors PDT shows no systemic antibacterial action or other damaging effects. This refers to the properties of FS and low-intensity laser radiation - the bactericidal effect of PDT is local , but has no harmful effect on the system saprophytic microflora of the body.

Current knowledge suggests that photodynamic damage is local , and bactericidal action is limited to a zone of light exposure. Currently, PDT in otolaryngology has been successfully used for the treatment of chronic tonsillitis and its complications , chronic pharyngitis , rhinitis , sinus congestion, chronic otitis media .The basic conditions for treatment - is the presence of a photosensitizer and a necessary dose radiation exposure.

Cancers, one of the greatest enemies of our time, also a great teacher, that we should go back to nature and re-examine our lifestyle. We are all aware that malnutrition (poor nutrition) and pollution is the leading cause of cancers. The Sun can cure diseases

The sun does not cause skin cancer. The sun is needed for life. If you don't spend time in the sun you will be sick. The sun is vital for health, longevity and to be disease free. If you are sick, one of the things that you must do is get out in the sun. Every living thing on the planet, with rare exception, cannot live without solar energy from the sun. Without sunlight, a whole host of physical abnormalities and diseases become prevalent, without sunlight you develop diseases, including depression, lack of energy, poor sleep, poor digestion, weight gain,, arthritis, constipation, bad breath, body odor, cancer, HBP, diabetes, attention deficit disorder,, stress, headaches, susceptibility to colds, flues and viral infections, PMS, male erectile dysfunction, infertility, anxiety and more. Why would a drug company want you to know that the natural cure for depression is simply getting some sunlight?  All they want to do is sell you drugs. Drug companies do not want to cure or prevent diseases, If they did, they would be out of business.

Does the sun cause the skin to wrinkle and look old? No. One of the thing the sun does is to draw out from the body toxins to the skin. it also stimulates cell re-growth, which actually makes you look younger and keeps your skin wrinkle free. Why is it then that people who spend more hours in the sun have a tendency to have a dried-up skin and wrinkled skin and look older than they are? The reason is because they are so toxic. When your body is so toxic, the sun will draw out from that body and bring those toxins to the surface. This is a good thing. It helps you cleans and detoxify your system, keeping you young, beautiful and healthy.

However if you are nutrient deficient, specifically in the good oils and fats that you need in your diet, excessive or prolonged exposure to sun can cause these problems. The solution? very simple, that you are toxic free, that you do not have nutritional deficiency, that your stress levels have reduced, Therefore you can spend much time in the sun as much as you want and it will benefit you. There is a caveat to this, every person's pigment is different and will burn at a different level. Obviously use common sense. If you are pale white and haven't been out in the sun in years, don't go out in the sun in the  middle of the day for four hours. You will get sunburned and it is not a good thing, build up the time in the sun.

Get rid of your silver fillings:

You must also address the devastation of toxic dental metals, root canals, and mercury amalgams. Vitamin C for Cancer Treatment:

Hydrogen Peroxide (H2O2)

Who would think an ordinary food grade hydrogen peroxide can be use for cancers? The principle is that cancers can not survived oxygen and that the oxygen in H2O2 does the job. I know of many practitioners even here in the Philippines using H2O2 for cancer patients.:

Cancer treatment is about making money

The below is absolutely 100% true and as a doctor I have been telling people this for 15 years now. No one wants to listen. Folks need to wake up. Cancer treatment is about making money. It is a 120 billion dollar a year industry in the United States alone and estimated to be a 600 billion dollar a year industry worldwide.

A successful cancer case according to the American Cancer Society and the American College of Oncology and Hematology means that the person survives for 5 years. Both the American Cancer Society and the American College of Oncology and Hematology admit that a person is likely to survive cancer for 7 to 10 years even if they do absolutely NOTHING. Of course, only the doctors get those magazines- not you or the cancer patient.

Alternative medicine's track record of curing cancer is 10 times higher than that of conventional medicine. Note that I say CURE.

Remember another thing. A TUMOR is just a symptom. It is not the cause of cancer.

Science is cause and effect. Remove the cause and the effect disappears.

I am in my third battle with cancer right now. I have not done any chemotherapy or radiation or surgery for any of my bouts with cancer. I survived leukemia, I survived Non Hodgkins Lymphoma and now I have Glioblastoma which is supposedly an incurable form of brain cancer. I was given two months to live 5 months ago.

I have been using Chinese herbs, high doses of vitamin C, acupuncture, chiropractic, homeopathy and nutritional changes. Yes, at first it got worse. It had metastasized to my lymph nodes, my lungs and my bones. As of this week, I am happy to say that there is no evidence now of any cancer in my lymph system or my bones. I had 6 tumors in my lungs, now there are only two. The tumors in my brain have shrunken tremendously. I never did any of their chemo, radiation or surgery.

Here is a very interesting statistic that you can only have access to by being a doctor. Every year more than 1,000 doctors oncologists (cancer doctors) are diagnosed with cancer. Less than 10% of them choose to do the treatment that they have been giving to their patients. Sort of like the fact that less than 25% of all pediatricians vaccinate their own children because of the fact that the risk of sudden death or serious side effects from the vaccination is higher than the risk of catching the disease one is being vaccinated for. This is not bullshit people- it is truth.

Medicine is about money, not about your health and the system traps people, especially the elderly, disabled and poor into a deadly treatment regime that puts them in an early grave. Meanwhile, all the jet set billionaires are flying off to Europe and paying big bucks foralternative treatments and getting cured.

Does alternative medicine work all the time? No. Of course not. Nothing works all the time. But there is a reason for that. You don't die until it's your time to die. Nothing can make you live longer than that time.

However quality of life comes into play. Those cancer patients who use alternative therapies for their cancer, yet still die from the illness, suffer a much higher quality of life. They die able to spend time with their families and even recognize their family members. They don't become emaciated like those who do chemotherapy or radiation do and rarely is a person who goes under the treatment of chemotherapy able to recognize anyone for the last few days of their lives. Their bodies become ravaged to the point that you can't even recognize them either. They suffer at a much much higher rate and they have one let down after another as doctors tell them, ahhh - it's looking good, only to tell them on the next visit it's looking worse, you need more chemo and radiation.

What is criminal about this is that YOUR DOCTORS KNOW THIS SHIT.

I took an oath as a physician. I have always followed it. That has certainly not made me successful financially as a doctor because I have consistently refused to go along with conventional medicine's bullshit.

Thoughts to Ponder on Cancer

This article has been circulating e-mails and social media, as cancer update from Johns Hopkins. Though it is a very interesting read and I am totally agree with the content. This, however DO NOT came from Johns Hopkins Hospital as stated, as a matter of fact, to check, I made Inquiries and verified this article since we lost track of the source, but since it is a good read and this is also my understanding, I shared it anyway. I also posted the link of Johns Hopkins answers to this article, as matter of fact they deny and claim this as a hoax, for transparency please read also reaction, and you be the judge. -RCB

AFTER YEARS OF TELLING PEOPLE CHEMOTHERAPY IS THE ONLY WAY TO TRY AND ELIMINATE CANCER, JOHNS HOPKINS IS FINALLY STARTING TO TELL YOU THERE IS AN ALTERNATIVE WAY .

1. Every person has cancer cells in the body. These cancer cells do not show up in the standard tests until they have multiplied to a few billion. When doctors tell cancer patients that there are no more cancer cells in their bodies after treatment, it just means the tests are unable to detect the cancer cells because they have not reached the detectable size. 

2. Cancer cells occur between 6 to more than 10 times in a person's lifetime.

3. When the person's immune system is strong the cancer cells will be destroyed and prevented from multiplying and forming tumors.

4. When a person has cancer it indicates the person has multiple nutritional deficiencies. These could be due to genetic, environmental, food and lifestyle factors.

5. To overcome the multiple nutritional deficiencies, changing diet and including supplements will strengthen the immune system. 

6. Chemotherapy involves poisoning the rapidly-growing cancer cells and also destroys rapidly-growing healthy cells in the bone marrow, gastro-intestinal tract etc, and can cause organ damage, like liver, kidneys, heart, lungs etc.

7. Radiation while destroying cancer cells also burns, scars and damages healthy cells, tissues and organs.

8. Initial treatment with chemotherapy and radiation will often reduce tumor size. However prolonged use of chemotherapy and radiation do not result in more tumor destruction. 

9. When the body has too much toxic burden from chemotherapy and radiation the immune system is either compromised or destroyed, hence the person can succumb to various kinds of infections and complications.

10. Chemotherapy and radiation can cause cancer cells to mutate and become resistant and difficult to destroy. Surgery can also cause cancer cells to spread to other sites

11. An effective way to battle cancer is to starve the cancer cells by not feeding it with the foods it needs to multiply.

WHAT CANCER CELLS FEED ON:

a. Sugar is a cancer-feeder. By cutting off sugar it cuts off one important food supply to the cancer cells. Sugar substitutes like NutraSweet, Equal,Spoonful, etc are made with Aspartame and it is harmful. A better natural substitute would be Manuka honey or molasses but only in very small amounts. Table salt has a chemical added to make it white in colour. Better alternative is Bragg's aminos or sea salt. 

b. Milk causes the body to produce mucus, especially in the gastro-intestinal tract. Cancer feeds on mucus. By cutting off milk and substituting with unsweetened soy milk, cancer cells are being starved.

c. Cancer cells thrive in an acid environment. A meat-based diet is acidic and it is best to eat fish, and a little chicken rather than beef or pork. Meat also contains livestock antibiotics, growth hormones and parasites, which are all harmful, especially to people with cancer.

d. A diet made of 80% fresh vegetables and juice, whole grains, seeds, nuts and a little fruits help put the body into an alkaline environment. About 20% can be from cooked food including beans. Fresh vegetable juices provide live enzymes that are easily absorbed and reach down to cellular levels within 15 minutes t o nourish and enhance growth of healthy cells. To obtain live enzymes for building healthy cells try and drink fresh vegetable juice (most vegetables including bean sprouts) and eat some raw vegetables 2 or 3 times a day. Enzymes are destroyed at temperatures of 104 degrees F (40 degrees C).

e. Avoid coffee, tea, and chocolate, which have high caffeine. Green tea is a better alternative and has cancer-fighting properties. Water--best to drink purified water, or filtered, to avoid known toxins and heavy metals in tap water. Distilled water is acidic, avoid it.

12. Meat protein is difficult to digest and requires a lot of digestive enzymes. Undigested meat remaining in the intestines become putrified and leads to more toxic buildup.

13. Cancer cell walls have a tough protein covering. By refraining from or eating less meat it frees more enzymes to attack the protein walls of cancer cells and allows the body's killer cells to destroy the cancer cells. 

14. Some supplements build up the immune system (IP6, Flor-ssence, Essiac, anti-oxidants, vitamins, minerals, EFAs etc.) to enable the body's own killer cells to destroy cancer cells. Other supplements like vitamin E are known to cause apoptosis, or programmed cell death, the body's normal method of disposing of damaged, unwanted, or unneeded cells.

15. Cancer is a disease of the mind, body, and spirit. A proactive and positive spirit will help the cancer warrior be a survivor. Anger, unforgiveness and bitterness put the body into a stressful and acidic environment. Learn to have a loving and forgiving spirit. Learn to relax and enjoy life.

16. Cancer cells cannot thrive in an oxygenated environment. Exercising daily, and deep breathing help to get more oxygen down to the cellular level. Oxygen therapy is another means employed to destroy cancer cells.

According to Kevin Trudeau, author of "Cancer cures they don't want you to know", vaccines are a scam, getting vaccinated is one of the worst things you could do to yourself, your children and your love ones. Vaccinations do not prevent illness, they cause illness. The mercury (thimerosal) in the vaccines cause brain damage, autism, learning disabilities. learning disabilities in children and adults is at an all time high. Every year more and more children are being diagnose with learning disabilities and autism. What is the cause? According to many experts there's growing evidence that shows that a drug called thimerosal is to blame. This drug is found in the vaccines, the fact is the more vaccines kids get , the more autism learning disabilities and lifelong illness develops. It is important to note that autism had never been known before. 

* for the record there are so many issues against Mr. Trudeau, he was accused of being a scam and fraud and so many things are thrown against him in the court, news and media by fighting and go against these big pharmaceutical companies, but if you read his story and his advocacy, I had a better understanding and made my own conclusion about the guy. Besides not only him many but Scientists, Educators, Doctors speak and stand up to go against vaccinations.

In "How to Live in a Poisoned World", author May Bethel says that vaccinations and serum injections are commercial rackets, injecting filthy, putrid matter into the bloodstream of humans. Since during the 60's , there are so many incidents of babies deformities due to vaccinations of pregnant mothers, and some contracted the diseases after taking the vaccines.

Many physicians, scientists, educators and thinkers everywhere are opposed to vaccination to prevent epidemics because they say that vaccines are unsafe, particularly for children. It is a blood poisoner. Mercury (solvent and preservatives) in vaccines is carcinogenic, and associated with autism in children, it was noted that autism become widely evident during spread of mass vaccinations.

I am saddened that I became a part of this industry at one point, I used to do research, laboratory studies and testing for a Hepatitis B vaccine company and not only that, engaged in widespread sales, vaccination in schools and companies, and even a resource speaker to encourage students, employees and community to get vaccinated. I really regret that moment, If I already knew the hidden pitfalls and the many drug company's agenda and take time to review other researches and studies on the side effects back then,  I would not allow myself to be part of the scam or the trade. Seeing children with neurological problems like Autism, Dyslexia, conditions such as paralysis, brain problems, etc really breaks my heart, I would even like to blame my nephew's epilepsy on this, too much vaccination at an early age is toxic to their system specially the nervous system and the brain. I just want readers to see the other side and contemplate on this and you be the judge. Take time to read the articles, links and videos. So I am against vaccinations of any kind, history and conscience dictates that it is not the solution but a source the problem. This is a very serious and alarming issue that we should take time to contemplate and educate ourselves  to protect our children and families.

Court rules that vaccine is responsible for autism

Finally, there has been a landmark victory in the war against needless vaccinations. After years of official government denial of the link between childhood vaccines and the onset of autism, a recent federal claims court ruled in favor of the family of a child whose regression into autism was caused by vaccinations.

This is the recognition that autism advocacy groups like the National Autism Association have been seeking for years. In the wake of the ruling, NAA president Wendy Fourtnier said, "We are confident that this is just the first of many cases that will confirm what we have believed for so long – vaccines can and do cause children to regress into autism."

The NAA and all of us battling against vaccines still face an uphill fight. Regardless of what the federal court rules, the government agencies that really count – namely the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) — are still firmly in the pro- vaccination camp. And there's a lot of Big Pharma money that's encouraging them to stay that way. In fact, not long after this ruling, a CDC panel voted unanimously to recommend flu shots for all school-age children. As in all battles against the government, it's a case of one step forward and two steps back.

The NAA was quick to point out the paradox of the CDC's decision, and Fournier asked that the agency "acknowledge that the current vaccine schedule is not safe for every child and as with the administration of any medicine, individual risks and susceptibilities must be considered for each patient."

Of course, the CDC ignored her. What's more, the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services is steadfast in the conclusions that it has drawn about vaccinations: that there is "no credible evidence" of a link to autism. Author David Kirby, who wrote a book about the controversy over vaccines and autism, shares my suspicion that the court's decision's is merely another thing for the two sides to argue about. "The significance of this concession will unfortunately be fought over in the usual, vitriolic way," Kirby said. "Despite that, the language of this concession cannot be changed, or swept away."

And yet the government is, as always, unchanging. All that's left for anti-vaccination groups to hope for is that the ruling will sway public opinion. Our society is so wrapped up in court cases and litigiousness, it's just possible that when the news gets out that a federal court has admitted a link between vaccinations and autism, it's tantamount to saying that the link is real, it's there, and it's undeniable. Eventually, public pressure may win out.
