ATC Health Care: Providing Filipinos Better Health

Recently, I was invited to attend the concluded launch of ATC Healthcare new array of food supplements. I have been using most of the products for a long time and I am considering to switch to ATC Brand due to its affordability, which makes it easy to sustain; good packaging, every capsule is seal in a foil pack that prevent oxidation of the product; better source, a more natural sources of their products.

Now, we all  can be the BOSS of our own health.  ATC Healthcare Corporation makes this thing a reality and sustainable by providing quality and affordable health supplements in the market. Food supplements are fast becoming part of our lifestyle and way of life, with the emergence of nutritional deficiencies,  many degenerative diseases, the rising cost of medications and health care, we should re-examine how we take charge of our health. I am fully supporting events and company like this since as a health ranger, it reminds our people that we should look at health as an investment as well.

ATC was established in 2005 as a means to recognize this goal. It offers a range of supplements that are natural and inexpensive. Its products - LiverMarin, Robust, Robust Extreme, BitterGo, RedoXfat, Reducin, GlucoMax, Strike Multi-Insect Killer, ATC Grape Seed Oil, ATC Ginkgo Biloba, and ATC Fish Oil and the like are FDA approved. Consumers can rest assured that these supplements are safe and good for the health, especially since most of ATC’s products are made from natural ingredients. On top of that, they are sold at reasonable prices. ATC doesn’t just care about business, at its very core, it is in business because it cares about its customers.

Symposium on Intravenous Laser Medicine held at Medical Plaza Ortigas

Here's my thoughts on the latest symposium on Intravenous Laser Medicine (IVLT) of The Integrated Laser and Complementary Medicine held at the Board Room of Medical Plaza Ortigas building last October 5, 2014. It is their third symposium for Medical Professionals and specialist, the first one in Cebu City and the second with members of Las Pinas Medical Society

The symposium aims at creating awareness about IV Laser Therapy in the country and encouraging other medical practitioners to re-examine and have a second look at this wonderful health modality which is very popular in Eastern and Western Europe.

Though the modality is a treatment in itself, it also complements other modality such as chemotherapy, pharmacological and alternative medicines, hence it was called part of Integrative and Complementary Medicine.

According to the speaker Dr. Danilo P. Delfin, a well-known Cardiologist, we are very late and left behind for more than 40 years with this kind of light-based technology which is the Intravenous Laser Therapy. Even my two doctor guests Drs. Rosario ( an anesthesiologist and practicing Family physician)  and Alberto Magpily said that they encounter IVLT many years ago during their training and practice in Germany way back.

Mr. Rommel Santos, Dr. Corazon Canete, Dr. karen Rome and Nurse Dianne

Mr. Rommel Santos, ILACM President and as we call him the father of Intravenous Laser Therapy in the Philippines, invested and brought this technology into  the country and came home just to attend the occasion (he was based abroad).

The ILACM Team
Cebu medical consultants and specialists Drs. Corazon B. Canete and Elena Mapula  flown in to manila from Cebu to attend the symposium and meet with the Manila office. Pasig Doctor friends of Drs. Delfin and Mejia  Drs.  Sharon Flores, Michelle Macabangun, Janet Barrocamo, who are very interested to know more about IVLT also graced the event.

Professor Melissa Dizon speaks about her IVLT Experience and
 to represent Consul Buddy Cunanan

After the symposium, everyone went to the clinic at Unit 2414 for lunch, demo sessions and some fellowship with the other guests.

I am a great believer of this Intravenous Laser Medicine, and supporting this for many years now, like in Europe, I hope it will become a part of mainstream medicine our doctors can use today. There are so many applications for this modality in other areas of health, not only cardiovascular problems, but also in Neurology, Nephrology, Fertility, Inflammatory Diseases and Anti-aging as side effects. As a health and wellness advocate, this is my mission now, to make this known in the medical community and to all  Filipinos as well.

My "SOAP" Experience

SOAP tagline and  mantra
SOAP (Spread Organic Agriculture in the Philippines), aims to link people and informations on evrything, everyone and anything under organic agriculture,  led by Ms Sandra Celi of Solraya Chicken (the chicken I recommend to a friend after her children developed allergies to regular chickens in the market):
CP: (0917) 847-2639
Web: solraya.com
Blog: solraya.blogspot.com
Free Ranged, Grass Fed, Pastured Colored Chickens: Raised with a lot of sunshine, fresh air, supplemented with probiotics and unmedicated feeds.(yes, this kind of chickens do exists!)

I joined this activity (SOAP) because it aims at making organic agriculture tangible, sustainable and feasible, by having more organic farmers and producers,  organic produce will be cheaper and there will be no hunger and malnutrition and filipinos will be safe from what they are eating and the food will be their medicine. Our country will be no longer dependent on imported chemical products like fertilizers and pesticide that is detrimental to our health.

The Joy of Organic farming:

SOAP collaborates with Deparatment of Agriculture (DAR), Agricultural Training Institute (ATI),  Agribusiness and Marketing Assistance Service (AMAS), Agribusiness Development Center (ADC)
SOAP collaborates with DAR and other government agencies
I am not actively involved in agriculture but organic producers have my support since I love everything organic, I also support LOCAVORE movement, which is also a form of organic living and advocate natural living and healthy lifestyle as my mission while still have remaining existence in this planet. I am happy that many of our people are responding to the call of saving our  planet by doing their own little way and contribution, SOAP/ SOAPers is one of them, they are actively involved in promotions, marketing and making organic markets and suppliers available, they are a hard working group that help one another, sharing tips, markets, farm tours, education, those starting up their organic farms, a wide network of organic farmers, producers, aquaculture etc etc, I learned so much from their threads and conversations and inputs, very educational, now I am dreaming of my own big organic farm someday! hope to visit more of their organic markets and exhibits, seminars and workshops and farm tours.

SOAP/SOAPers booth @ Chefs on Parade, SMX Mall of Asia
I excitedly visited exhibits at Chefs on Parade event in held last March 3, 2013 at  SMX Mall of Asia (MOA), Roxas Blvd, PH. An event of culinary feasts, feats, showdown and exhibitions, a visual delight for a foodie like me. I am glad that SOAP is there, to represent and offer organic lifestyle to our chefs and foodies, many people are into delicious and healthy cooking these days and SOAP and Chefs can work hand in hand in delivering this needs and lifestyle change that people want to embrace, Many chefs and food industry key persons check out SOAP exhibits and was given SOAP directory, a directory of all organic producers and supplier all over the country.

We owe big time to these "pollinators" and we should not kill them, for they make our trees and other plants to bear more fruits by cross-pollinating flowers. Milea has a wide array of bee products that guarantees quality, pure, unprocessed honey, bee polen, unpasturized honey vinegar, propolis extracts, balms, sugar bags from native stingless bees. it practices natural and organic farming method.
