Profile: Healing Fleets

Fleets is a cancer survivor without a kiss of chemotherapy, she vowed to follow a lifestyle change of alternative and holistic path. I have known her as the co-founder of Healing Partners Foundation (HPFI), a cancer support group and member of the I Can Serve foundation (ICS) for breast cancers. An excellent ballroom dancer, Qi-kung practitioner, and the best gourmet raw food-living organic food maker (I would not say cook or chef for raw foods aren't meant to be cook) , can't get over her sandwiches which is so delicious and healthy made with fresh vegetable salad and almond nut paste with herbs, she makes her own organic soya milk too, also a good acupuncturist, amazing . She is an epitome of healthy, organic and natural living and I want to believe that her life is blowing in that direction, to help and inspire others and make alternative medicine and natural living a way of life.

Teacher by profession , a cancer warrior by avocation , a contractor by accident (a business left by her husband), nutrition advocate , AMP (Alternative Medicine Practitioner ) - an advocate of wellness , natural cures , and cancer prevention, Healing Partners co-founder, " Fleeting Boobs " Maker (a natural body -friendly breast prosthesis), seed sprouter, farmer , dance aficionado , holistic lifestyle counsellor.

Alumni Awardee for Wellness Advocacies ( Miriam College QC “ Triple A award ", St. Paul University, QC Bronze award, Ms. "K 2000", KMKP (Kapisanan ng may K (cancer) sa Pilipinas ) .

An Alumna of St . Francis Divine College Diploma course in Alternative Medicine. She is a hard-core when it comes to travels, organic, alternative medicine, raw foods, healthy living, family, spirituality, different kinds of healing modalities and dance, she is living life to the fullest. A great supporter of different support groups, organizations specially when it comes to travels, healing, spirituality, alternative medicine, modalities and so on, always dependable ("maasahan"). A familiar face on TV and magazines giving talks on her experience and advocacy: To fight the "Big C". This woman never stop learning, wether it is health issues or spirituality, she reads, study, learns, practices and always updated on the latest trends and issues on natural health and she still managed to live a balanced life with her family. So full of life and energy!

Triple A' awardees are part of the MCA Museum, similar to her husband's in UP Library for topping the board in engineering.

Fleta is a breast cancer survivor who has turned this negative affliction into a very positive aspect of her life. She founded the non-profit organization, the Healing Partners Foundation, Inc. that has helped a lot of underprivileged cancer stricken patients particularly in the area of nutrition and education, promoting total well-being and a healthier way of life. She actively endorses unconventional and alternative cancer cures (that she herself practices) and has promoted its wide use in the country. She developed a prosthesis bra called “Fleeting Boobs” and has made it available to the poor breast cancer patients who has had mastectomy. To this day, Fleta does not tire in inspiring, comforting and motivating cancer patients and has continued to be a happy and healthy living example of how effective alternative cures to cancer can be.
