Turmeric or Luyang Dilaw is a powerful natural anti-inflammatory food spices, it is very cheap and can be easily grow in your soil, it can be an ornamental plants too, I learned to make use of this yellow ginger with my adopted mom in Batangas, it is the  best adobo I have tasted, "adobo" with yellow ginger or turmeric, Learned that in India they use the powdered turmeric for skin and hair, that's why Indian women have beautiful hair, I also put the powder in my shampoo to give it  a herbal touch.
