On Probiotics, Antibiotics and Germ Theory of Disease

Yakult, the most popular probiotic available in the PH, our favorite during childhood, originally from Japan. (available in leading stores and supermarkets)

According to medical theory, when the person is sick, he is presumed to be attacked by virus, bacteria, parasites, germs or whatever names there to be represent foreign entities that weaken and make the body sick. I am not a fan of antibiotics and not a person who will ask for it when sick with infections unless extremely necessary, meaning my body can not handle anymore the infections and natural remedies doesn't work.

In a book of A.A. Cordero: Cancer cures in 12 ways, pp. 249, he discussed the Germ Theory of Disease: "having entities in the body, various means and devices are applied to the human body to get rid of the "invaders". Thus in the case of cancer, the allophatic profession has utilized for a long time heat radiation to kill the supposedly germ concentration in tumors or lymph nodes. In case of malignant tumor, the surgeon extracts the solid tissue formation by cutting it. the patient is also injected with different types of vaccines or antibiotics. All these three systems are being used on the patient in order to get rid of the invaders, but the result could be fatal".

Due to the hopelessness of finding responsive cures based on the germ theory of diseases of Louis Pasteur, why not pursue another path which is more pleasant, safe and practical like the school of thought of another Frenchman named Pierre Jacques Antoine Bechamp, whose ideas and beliefs century ago had been recovered from the numerous medical thoughts in the efforts of researchers to find and solve the problem of diseases.

During his time, Prof. Bechamp claimed that germs are not the cause of diseases. germs are instituted by nature to clean the body or the environment; to get rid it of wastes so as to make it truly and safely habitable  According to Bechamp germs and the like are scavengers, or natural cleaners that pave the way to a continuous life function.

When Louis Pasteur discovered the numerous germs present in the body of the sick patient, he was too premature in his conclusion that germs were the cause of disease. he failed to evaluate and understand the philosophy of natural disease causation. Germs emerge from the waste or poison accumulation to clean them, when the waste are cleared out, the germs starve and disappear.

Antibiotics suppress the immune system and make you more susceptible to other infections. Antibiotics are now even scientifically linked to causing breast cancer, autism, asthma, autoimmune diseases, ear infections, hormonal imbalances, infertility, erectile dysfunction, skin conditions, decrease immunity and even death. Antibiotics creates a super bugs that are resistant and stronger than any other infectious type disease.

In his book, author Kevin Trudeau tell us to never, never, ever take antibiotics unless you are about to die, Unless you have days to live never take antibiotics. Why? consider this, when a doctor prescribed antibiotics did he ever performed a tests to determine if you had a bacterial infection? Did he performed tests to determine which antibiotic out of the hundreds would be most effective against the particular bacterial strain causing your problem? probably not.

Antibiotic regimen really cause a lot of problem afterwards, susceptibility to fungal growth afterwards, specifically Candida.  Some antibiotics prescribe now is mostly the third generation Cephalosporins which is a broad spectrum type, which means, it kills everything not only the nasty but the normal flora of good bacteria as well, the result is diarrhea and stomach discomfort specially after prolonged use due to eradication of good intestinal flora that keep the pH balance of gut, vaginal walls, saliva and other organs of the body, studies also link new diseases or conditions like " acid reflux" to too much and prolonged antibiotic use. I used to be on prolonged antibiotics used before and cause me prolonged agony as well, but I do a lot of cleansing afterwards and probiotic regimen. As much as I could I never take antibiotic pills unless it is extremely necessary, I tried home remedies and natural methods first and it works for me so far, I ended my love affair with antibiotics and save it for extreme emergency or necessity. Antibiotics have so many side effects, many can cause aplastic anemia can suppressed your bone marrow like chlorampenicol, ( and this is proven already by Hematologists) it can damage your liver, and alter the digestive system., so don't take it as a regular supplements. As a microbiologist as well, we studied culture, characteristics, biochemistry, metabolism and invasiveness of these bacteria, parasites and viruses, so I also recommended a culture and sensitivity test before taking a blind shot of antibiotics, we don't want a hit miss approached in dealing with this nasty organisms, that is the cause of the rise in resistance to antibiotics, who would believed that a simple staphylococcus aureus that is so easily to be treated before give rise to MRSA (Methicillin resistant strain of SA) that is  stubborn and hard to manage and causing an epidemic this days.

May I add in this list the  cranberry juice, my sister's UTI was gone by drinking water and cranberry juice and not resort to antibiotics. Our very own Pili oil can also kills MRSA when applied to wounds and lesions, it was proven with studies.

Made in the PH and locally available only is the Lactopafi (Lactovitale), a plant based probiotics, for those who have allergies and intolerance to milk and milk products.

Probiotics are organisms to keep the pH balance of our body balanced, they are mostly normal flora of our body and keep the bad bacteria at bay by producing acids or substances that prevent the invasion of the bad bacteria. There are many bacterial cultures now that being used as probiotics such as the Lacto-bacilli. I would recommend only probiotics if you think you don't have enough good bacteria in the body, as stated above there are naturally occurring plants with the effect just the same. I had seen many probiotics users had many reactions in using probiotics in the market, I think as a microbiologist these probiotics could also kill or eradicate the naturally occurring "your very own" probiotics in your system, because so many are available in the market and proper research and testing wasn't actually done to them, some I never heard of, so be careful and discriminating in using both probiotics and antibiotics. But I would highly suggest that you take probiotics after you had a massive dose of antibiotics to keep the flora that has been wipe out in balance. - Tien Cho (RCB)

Unique Probiotics Trigger Different Immune Responses
The ability of probiotics to influence the immune system differs greatly depending on the strain in question. One probiotic strain is not like another when it comes to immune function. T-cell counts are one marker documenting this. Different strains activate different subtypes of T-helper cells while others specifically induce another subtype. By building on our current knowledge of strain specific immune modulatory effects it may become possible to design clinically effective, bacteria based strategies to maintain and promote health.

Who would want to risk a serious bacterial infection when it could be easily avoided? Antibiotics are great at what they do; they kill bacteria. Unfortunately, they are unable to discriminate between good bacteria and bad bacteria.
